Jobcare

Jobcare supports people who are unemployed or looking for work to build confidence, develop skills and take practical steps towards employment.

The service offers free job-search support, one-to-one guidance, structured programmes and access to resources that can help people prepare for work.

One-to-One Job Support

Jobcare provides individual support for people who need help with job-search planning, CVs, applications or interview preparation.

This can be useful if you are returning to work after time out, changing direction, rebuilding confidence, or unsure where to start.

CV & Interview Preparation

Jobcare can help with creating or improving a CV, preparing for interviews and understanding how to present your skills and experience to employers.

This support may be helpful for parents returning to work who want to explain gaps, caring years or changes in work history in a clear and confident way.

Structured Employment Programmes

Jobcare runs structured programmes to support people at different stages of their employment journey.

These include programmes such as the Jobseekers Course, JobNet, Career Launch, Kickstart and other work-related programmes.

The Jobcare Learning Hub also provides online learning and community resources for programmes including JobNet, Jobseekers Club and Kickstart.

Practical Job-Search Resources

Participants may be able to access practical resources such as support with printing, Wi-Fi and online job-search activities.

This can be helpful for people who do not have easy access to technology, printing or a quiet space to work on applications.
